ORANGE

Orange alert for Christina and Malcolm.

Orange alert for Christina and Malcolm.

Orange is said to radiate warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow — no wonder little Malcolm Radboy cozies up so readily to Christina and the Crosshatch chair in this rust-colored tableau. Designed by EOOS for GEIGER, the Crosshatch, with either a solid-walnut or pale ash-wood (pictured) frame, black parachute cords, and Lanalux upholstery by MAHARAM, is available through HERMAN MILLER. The black turtleneck is by HERMÈS, the lambskin bomber by VEJAS, and the pants by SIMON MILLER. The shoes are by CAMPER and the ring is by MARY PING X PIÈCE À CONVICTION.

BLUE

The soothing effects of blue are a perfect match for playtime with little Yve Maximo and her new friend Colton Shakir (right). Christina chose to coordinate her outfit with Jean Prouvé’s classic 1939 Fauteuil de Salon, which was recently reintroduced by VITRA in a wide array of upholstery colors, with a powder-coated steel frame and natural-wood armrests (here in walnut). Underneath her Scallop shift dress by TRADEMARK, Christina is wearing a long striped dress by CREATURES OF COMFORT and a white turtleneck by HERMÈS. The white mules are by MARYAM NASSIR ZADEH. The small pyramid bag with a red Lucite handle is by SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.

GREEN

Here Christina is seen lounging with little Yve Maximo on the Aston sofa in a perfect symphony of restful greens. The Aston, with its lush meadow-green velvet upholstery and pewter-colored cast-aluminum legs, was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for MINOTTI and is available through DDC. Christina’s skirt and matching jacket are by A DÉTACHER, the leotard is by WE LOVE COLORS, the sandals by OAK, the socks by HUE, and the ring by VARIANCE.

YELLOW

Known for communicating happiness and capturing the joy of sunshine, a yellow environment is the perfect stomping ground for a little bundle of joy like Malcolm Radboy. Christina takes a backseat to his antics while leaning on the Fulgens, a modern lounge chair designed by Antonio Citterio with a wooden frame shellacked in burgundy and upholstered in a striking saffron-colored wool. It is available through the MAXALTO collection at B&B ITALIA. Malcolm’s Dakota leather bike bag is by KENZO, Christina’s T-shirt is by MARYAM NASSIR ZADEH, the suede vest and skirt are by TOPSHOP, and the dramatic gold buckle boots are by BOTTEGA VENETA. Christina’s bracelet is by RENVI and the cuff is by MARY PING X PIÈCE À CONVICTION.
